I bumped into Yuri Escueta and Monette, his girlfriend, in the elevator as I went up to my condo at G.A. Tower. I believe Monette stays in G.A. as well. Anyway, I asked Yuri if the first Ateneo-La Salle game would be on July 6, 2008 (Sunday). Blue Eagle and Green Archer fans take note! He nodded. I then asked if it was the season’s opening game. Monette said that July 5, 2008 will be the opening day. UAAP fans take note!
