After lunch at Gasthof, Picci and I explored D’Mall. Located near the end of the D’Mall Plaza is Crazy Crepes. This was one of the dessert places I’ve been looking for since I got to the island. I’ve read about it in blogs and my friends have recommended it.

We ordered two of their best sellers. Mango Crumble…

…and Raspberry something. Hehe. Sorry I forgot the actual name but it’s yummy!

Establishment: Crazy Crepes
What to order: Dessert crepes. I recommend the Raspberry something.
Location: D’Mall Plaza, Station 2

I and Picci, my girlfriend, went to Boracay last May 29 – June 1, 2008. The trip was our 1st year anniversary celebration as a couple. Our official anniversay was on May 1, 2008.
Anyway, it was Picci’s first time to Boracay. This was my second time in Boracay but I consider it my “first.” because I wasn’t able to fully enjoy my very first trip. Why not?
- I didn’t have enough money then
- I didn’t know the thing-to-do in Bora other than go swimming
- I didn’t stay on a weekend
That’s why I made sure I was prepared this time. I wanted it be worthwhile for me and Picci. This led me to surfing the internet, looking for information about Boracay. I came across several websites and blogs but these two are the most useful to me…
Other than searching the net, I’ve also asked some friends of mine who have been to Boracay. Of all the people I’ve asked, Miggy Matute and Sophie Menor have been really insightful. Miggy used to live / work in Boracay. He used to be a dive instructor. Sophie used to work for Mega, which always have several events in Boracay.
Finally, I made a list of all the things we wanna try in Boracay. I put the list in an excel file (Things to do in Boracay.xls). There are 2 worksheets. The first one is sorted by the Category (activity, meals, club, etc.) The other worksheet is sorted by boat stations.
Trivia: (Central) Boracay is divided into 3 boat stations. This is where the local boats drop off / pick up passengers.
We’re hoping do to most of things in my list. Boracay here we come!
