Dear Readers,
I know that many of you are very angry at me and have accused me of all sorts of malicious intent and have said things like im only announcing this bad information so that odysseylive can generate hits and what not. The truth is, though i want the site to have its hits, my announcing that the Eraserheads concert is canceled was because for a moment it was indeed considered canceled. What happened was that Philip Morris has backed out from being the ones behind it. My information came from someone who works under Marlboro, so it was indeed considered Official Information. What is happening now is that another company has taken over the project and will be handling the show.
I offer my apologies to those who were offended by my post but i assure you that i only announced that info because in the end we all just wanted to know what the hell was going on! And that is exactly what was going on. Im just glad that the concert is going to push through and that were all going to have the chance to watch one of the greatest bands ever!!!
This is simply untrue. The concert’s still pushing through.
Este, the cancellation part lang ang untrue, hehe…
I still fault Miggy for not crediting the “cancellation” announcement to the Marlboro employee. Ok lang naman kahit di nya banggitin yun name ng employee eh, dapat sinabi nya na yung source nya ay “from a Marlboro employee” or “from an insider at Marlboro”, etc. Mas naging reliable sana yung post ni Miggy nung time na yun…
Details please. Is it still going to be free? Do we have to buy tickets now? Where is the venue? Where do we buy tickets? Will appreciate the info. =)
Hi Perry,
Here’s Miggy’s response to your comments:
i understand Perry’s concern and i get it, dahil di ako kilala, my words are not reliable. But i was also in a position where i was not allowed to reveal my sources, so i had to respect that. And besides all that, my blog was written for the odysseylive users. These are people who know me and know what and who i am in the music industry, the fact that it was put everywhere has nothing to do with me.
But besides all that, why does having to mention my exact source make the news more credible. Aren’t we in this for the information, and not the bringer of the bad news?
