Bora Trip 2008 (May 29): Picci’s Very First Plane Ride

The last time I went on a plane ride was when I went to Canada and US in 1997. That’s why I was so excited at the same time a little nervous about flying. I was nervous because I remembered almost throwing up during my last domestic airplane trip due to the air pockets. At the same time, I was excited because this would be my girlfriend’s FIRST PLANE TRIP!

As you can see, she’s very excited…

Boarding time was at 8:45 am at Gate 4. As we entered the gate, it led us to a staircase going down. Soon as we’re at the bottom of the stairs, we saw the “airport shuttle” waiting for us. I wasn’t actually sure if the shuttle was for our flight. But I went in and my girlfriend followed me.

The shuttle drove us to our plane which was about 500 meters from our gate.

Btw, those aren’t horns! Hehe. Those are the plane’s propellers.

Finally, inside the plane…

We paid attention to what the flight attendants orientation on safety.

Although, I paid more attention to the safety information guide found in front of my seat.

I was so HAPPY during this flight because it made Picci teary-eyed. Not because she was scared, but because she was genuinely happy for finally being able to ride an airplane.
